Being creative and travelling at the same time has always been our dream. We are Nadine and Mark and we have been working in hospitality for over 20 years.
Since 2013, we have been providing craft holidays as "The Alpine Experience" in Les Carroz, France. As our crafting classes have become so successful, we were thinking of taking our wonderful tutors and students to different locations around Europe.
We are looking forward to spend more time with our students in their classes and organising their holidays. We would like to continue our 5 star service to our guests and working in trusted partnerships with our tutors.
We are so thankful to be working with professional tutors from all over the world in embroidery, beadwork and lace making.
Continuously supporting our tutors successes with their businesses is a must and we are the first to celebrate their accomplishments. We know that our tutors work very hard to produce the best kits and projects to our students. In 2013, we were lucky to take over the business from Mark's parents Jackie and Aubin. Jackie is an experienced embroiderer and lacemaker. Jackie started off with 5 weeks of craft classes in the summer as she wanted to be with like minded people and offer different holidays to hiking and biking in the mountains.
Since then, we have been expanding the Alpine Experience each year with new tutors and classes. In 2021, we have come to the conclusion that we would like to offer more classes and have an all year around business. Therefore, we were looking at new locations in Europe where we could take our students and travel with them.
