  The hotel has a very classic Parisian boutique hotel feel rather than a modern chain-hotel atmosphere. It occupies an 1880 Haussmann building and leans into traditional French elegance, creating a warm, authentic Paris experience rather than a contemporary designer aesthetic.

  Move effortlessly throughout Paris with your unlimited metro, tram, and bus travel pass, giving you freedom to explore independently or join group excursions with ease.

• Travel to Central Paris
  Guests are responsible for their own travel to Place de République.
  Optional private airport transfers from Charles de Gaulle (CDG) are available to book during the checkout process.
• Travel Insurance
  Comprehensive travel insurance is not included and must be arranged independently to cover health, cancellations, and personal belongings.

Your Paris textile adventure begins in the heart of the city. The tour officially starts on Wednesday, 7th April 2027, and guests should aim to arrive at the Hôtel Paix République in the early afternoon.

We recommend arriving via one of the following major transport hubs, 

• Gare de l’Est – Serves regional and national trains from eastern France and Germany
• Gare du Nord – The arrival point for Eurostar trains from London and high-speed services from northern France and Belgium

For those flying into Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), a direct RER B train runs frequently into Paris and stops at Gare du Nord, offering a fast and cost-effective way into the city centre.

Once at Gare de l’Est or Gare du Nord, you can use the Metro to République. From there, it is a short walk to the hotel.

Your Paris stay will be based at the a charming, traditional Parisian boutique hotel with classic Haussmann elegance, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and an authentic local feel in the heart of the République district. The hotel features modern, well-appointed rooms with ensuite bathrooms, air conditioning, and complimentary Wi-Fi. You may select either single or double occupancy to suit your preference.

Breakfast is included each morning, served buffet-style in the hotel’s breakfast area. Enjoy a selection of freshly baked pastries, breads, fruit, yoghurt, cereals, cheeses, and hot and cold beverages to begin your day.

There are 3 dinners included in your retreat on your 4 night stay. 3 lunches and 1 dinner is at your own cost.

  Many of our tours involve exploring Paris on foot—cobblestone streets and museum floors call for supportive footwear.
• Weather-Appropriate Clothing
  April in Paris can be mild but changeable. Pack light layers, a warm jumper, and a light waterproof jacket or umbrella just in case of spring showers.
• Smart-Casual Outfit for the Farewell Dinner Cruise
  While formalwear is not required, a neatly dressed, smart-casual look is ideal for our scenic evening on the Seine.
• Reusable Water Bottle & Day Bag
  Great for staying hydrated and keeping your hands free while exploring.
• Travel Documents
  Don’t forget your passport, travel insurance certificate, transport tickets, and any necessary health documents.
• Personal Medications & Toiletries
  While pharmacies are plentiful in Paris, it’s best to bring any prescribed medications or specialty items you require.
• Phone Charger & European Plug Adapter
  France uses Type C or E plugs and 230V voltage—be sure your devices are compatible.

This programme is walking-intensive and includes full days on foot exploring Paris and Versailles. Guests should be comfortable navigating:

• Cobblestone streets and uneven pavements
• Public transport, including stairs and occasional standing
• Large sites, such as the Palace of Versailles, which may require walking long distances without seating

The Ibis Styles Gare de l’Est Magenta hotel is equipped with a lift, and all rooms include ensuite bathrooms. However, bathroom configurations may vary. If you have specific mobility needs, please inform us at the time of booking so we can allocate a suitable room, where available.

If you experience mobility challenges or have a significant medical condition, we strongly encourage you to contact us before reserving your place. We’ll be happy to assess suitability and discuss any reasonable adjustments.

Cancellation shall take effect only when Creative Experiences receives written notification from the person confirming the booking. The following cancellation fees expressed, as a percentage of the total holiday cost, will become immediately payable to Creative Experiences.

Cancellation charge:

Cancellation within 8 weeks; 40% of holiday cost payable

Cancellation within 7 weeks; 60% of holiday cost payable

Cancellation within 6 weeks; 80% of holiday cost payable

Cancellation within 4 weeks; 100% of holiday cost payable

Emergency

Creative Experience will provide you with assistance in case of emergency during your holiday with us. We can help you bringing you to health services, working with local authorities and international consulate in case you lost your passport or important papers.

If you have an emergency because of your own negligence, Creative Experiences may ask you for a fee occurred during the process such as extra transfers, missed bookings with third parties and more.

Conduct

When you enjoy your holiday with Creative Experiences, you are responsible for any damage or loss caused by you. In case of damage in a hotel or villa (third party supplier), the client has to pay the damage charges directly to the supplier.

We do reserve the rights to cancel your holiday, in case you put others in danger through your actions, verbal abuse and by causing significant distress to other holiday makers who are joining that group. We do not tolerate violence or abuse in any form to our clients or staff members.
