On arrival at Cristiano Ronaldo International Airport, guests can easily take a taxi to the luxurious 5-star Quinta da Bela Vista hotel, your home for the week. For added ease and comfort, we offer pre-booked private transfers at an additional cost — please contact us in advance to arrange this service.
Check-in at the hotel is available from 3:00 PM. Should you arrive earlier, you are warmly invited to relax and enjoy a light lunch or refreshing drink at the hotel's pool bar, nestled within the lush botanical gardens.
In the evening, join your fellow guests for a welcome drinks reception at 7:00 PM, a perfect opportunity to mingle and set the tone for a wonderful week ahead. This will be followed by a delicious three-course dinner at 7:30 PM in the hotel’s elegant restaurant, where you can savour locally inspired cuisine and meet your fellow craft enthusiasts.

After a relaxed continental breakfast served between 8:00 and 10:00 AM, guests can choose to spend the morning (10:30 AM-12:30 PM) in the work room, a welcoming space available for crafting, or enjoy the hotel's splendid facilities, including the serene gardens, outdoor pool, or inviting lounges.
A two-course lunch will be served at 12:30 PM, providing a taste of Madeira’s fresh local ingredients.
In the afternoon, the work room will be open again from 2:00 to 5:00 PM, offering another opportunity for relaxed creativity. Whether you stitch, knit, paint, or simply read, the day is yours to enjoy as you wish.
Dinner will be served at 7:30 PM, providing the perfect opportunity to share your day's experiences.

Start your day with a hearty breakfast, then at 10:30 AM we’ll board a private minibus to explore the vibrant Old Town of Funchal.
Our first stop is Bordal, Madeira's historic embroidery factory. Enjoy a guided tour and learn about the island’s rich craft traditions. Afterwards, guests will have free time to wander the charming streets of Funchal, find a leisurely lunch, and explore the stunning botanic gardens — accessible via an unforgettable cable car ride offering panoramic views.
We will return to the hotel by afternoon, allowing time to unwind before gathering again for a delicious three-course dinner at 7:30 PM.

Following a leisurely breakfast, the day is yours to shape. Spend your morning (10:30 AM-12:30 PM) in the work room or take the opportunity to explore the hotel's stunning gardens, read by the pool, or indulge in a spa treatment.
After a two-course lunch, the work room will be open from 2:00 to 5:00 PM for another relaxed creative session.

At 10:00 AM, please join us on the dolphin and whale watching ecological catamaran. Enjoy a unique 3 hour catamaran tour that offers silent, pollution free wildlife observation.
We will enjoy lunch in Funchal either as a group or on your own if you wish.
In the afternoon, we will take a small excursion to the Bordal Embroidery shop where we will have a show round of how Madeira Embroidery is produced and meet the team behind the scenes.
If you’d like to add a little more activity to your stay, we offer an optional excursion to explore one of Madeira’s beautiful levada walks. If you would like to join this outing, please let us know, and remember to bring suitable walking shoes or boots.
Return to the hotel in the afternoon, ready for another delightful dinner at 7:30 PM.

At 7:00 PM, gather for a special farewell drinks reception to celebrate the week’s friendships and achievements. This is followed by a celebratory three-course farewell dinner at 7:30 PM.

Hotel check-out is by 11:00 AM. Taxis or pre-booked transfers are available to return you to the airport.

Every person for whom a holiday is booked with Creative Experiences must have adequate insurance cover and must be able to show us proof of insurance upon request.

Our holidays require a minimum amount of guests to be able to to continue with the holiday. We reserve the right to cancel or postpone the holiday in case the minimum number has not been achieved.
Changes
Should you wish to change your booking, Creative Experiences will endeavour to accommodate any changes subject to any differences in price and availability, but cannot guarantee that changes can be made. Creative Experiences will make an administration charge of £50 for any change in booking. Bookings cannot be changed within 2 weeks of the start of your holiday.
Responsibility
Creative Experiences will not be liable for any loss or damages occurred to any client as a result of:
Any event or circumstance which could have been avoided if the client had taken reasonable care.
Any circumstance or event which Creative Experiences or its suppliers could not have foreseen or prevented even with all due care and attention.
Circumstances out of the reasonable control of Creative Experiences such as strikes, wars, civil or political unrest, quarantine restrictions, terrorism, government actions, natural or nuclear disaster adverse weather conditions including injury or illness to staff thus reducing level of service.
Injury, illness or death due to any activity at any time during your holiday, except where such injury or death is caused by the negligence or fraud of Creative Experiences.
Loss of, theft of or damage to any of your belongings at any time of your holiday, whether within the chalet, in the neighbourhood or otherwise.
Injury, illness or death associated with the consumption of any food or drink we may supply except where such illness, injury or death is caused by the wilful negligence or fraud of Creative Experiences or its directors, officers or employees.
Excursion days
We do not accept responsibility if an artisan or person does not show up or cancels private booked excursion such as walking tours, artisan lessons, cooking lessons, wine tastings etc. Should this situation arise, Creative Experiences will try their very best to book another excursion and find an alternative at no cost to the client.
Our suppliers
Creative Experiences is working with third party suppliers such as hotels, villas, transfer companies and others. We are more than happy to discuss any of your requirements such as food allergies with hotels, specific room allocations, pick and drop off times with transfers companies, however we cannot guarantee that your request can be fulfilled. In case of special client requirements not being accepted by the third party, we will be contacting you at our earliest convenience to let you know.
Complaints and Problems
In the unlikely event that you have any reason to complain or experience any problems with your holiday, you must immediately inform the Creative Experiences representative and the supplier of the service(s) in question. Any verbal notification must be put in writing and given to our representative and the supplier as soon as possible. Until we know about a problem or complaint, we cannot begin to solve it. Most problems can be dealt with quickly. If you remain dissatisfied however, you must write to us within 28 days of your return to your home country giving your booking reference and full details of your complaint. We regret we do not accept any liability in relation to any complaint or claim which is not notified entirely in accordance with this clause.

When you enjoy your holiday with Creative Experiences, you are responsible for any damage or loss caused by you. In case of damage in a hotel or villa (third party supplier), the client has to pay the damage charges directly to the supplier.
We do reserve the rights to cancel your holiday, in case you put others in danger through your actions, verbal abuse and by causing significant distress to other holiday makers who are joining that group. We do not tolerate violence or abuse in any form to our clients or staff members.
Deposits
