With her extensive teaching experience, she will guide you through the class and equip you with the techniques needed to complete your chosen project.

Our classes take place in a spacious open-plan studio within a breathtaking mountain chalet. The studio features panoramic bay windows that offer picturesque views of the Arve valley and the serene majesty of the mountains. It is an awe-inspiring setting for your stitching endeavors.

By joining this experience, you'll connect with fellow stitchers who share your passion. This creates an environment where lifelong friendships can form, and you'll have the opportunity to learn and exchange techniques with both your peers and the instructor.

Mark, with his 20 years of culinary expertise in renowned restaurants, will curate a delightful menu tailored to each class, accommodating dietary requests whenever possible. During the week, there will be a designated excursion day to Annecy. You can enjoy a leisurely cruise on the lake in the morning, followed by a delightful lunch at a charming French bistro. The afternoon presents an opportunity for shopping at local haberdashery shops, adding an extra dimension to your stitching journey.

Secure your spot now and seize the chance to embark on an unforgettable stitching holiday in the French Alps. We eagerly await the pleasure of welcoming you to Creative Experiences.

About The Host

Chrissie Juno Mann

Chrissie Juno Mann

Based in the heart of the New Forest, I have been stitching since I was a child.  As an adult I trained at the Royal School of Needlework (RSN), Hampton Court Palace as a specialist in the art of hand embroidery.  I work as a tutor for the RSN at various locations across the UK.

However, primarily I run my own embroidery business Cloud Juno and work as a freelance embroiderer and tutor all over the country running workshops and holidays for a variety of organisations.
I have also developed a wonderful online community and teach regular Zoom classes with students all around the world.

I like to develop my own body of work and I won the category for Raised Embroidery in an Internationally Prestigious competition, run in conjunction with Inspirations Magazine and Beating Around the Bush convention 2018.  And my work ‘Bottled Curiosity’ featured in the Worshipful Company of Broderers exhibition “The Art of Embroidery”, at the Bankside Gallery in London.

I recently self-published my two books ’50 Blackwork Patterns: Book 1 and Book 2.’, which has been positively received.  My aim is to encourage the art of hand embroidery making it accessible to all whilst capturing nature and the beauty of the world around us with thread.
